Hey Friends! Today I’m doing an update on my entry way! Things are really coming together around here and it’s so exciting for me!
Before I show you what it looks like now, let’s go way back and see what we started with at the beginning of this whole process.
In the beginning….
Once the kitchen platform was built, I wanted to create a separate entry way by building a wood clad wall…..
Today the entry way looks a lot more put together, although I’m sure I will continue to change things up. Here’s what the current set-up looks like…..
You know I love some neon!
These DIY’d concrete knobs provide a place to hang coats, hats, or scarves. I keep this faceted wood scarf Tim made me hung up because it really is wearable art that should be displayed!
One of my favorite things about the entry way is the custom light fixture I created with a lantern from Anthropologie! Brass + glass = gorgeous!
This looks great! Any chance he’ll be selling those faceted wood scarves?
You always have such a fresh unbridled attitude in your projects Kara. I think it’s your ability to create a complete menu of candy for the eyes, terrific planning for placement, and a selection of materials that challenges me to ask myself why we do what we have kept on doing without asking why haven’t I imagine something else?
