FROM EEK TO CHIC!
This blurry and pitiful picture can’t quite confirm how ugly the dining room light fixture was when we moved in 2 years ago. However I am hoping you can see just enough to notice what an incredible transformation it made!
It’s quite amazing what a can of spray paint and a bunch of mardi gras beads can create! That’s right, I said mardi gras beads!

Total cost for this EEK to CHIC chandelier was $3!!! (for the spray paint)

This lovely light now lives in my master bedroom where it fits in quite nicely. What do you think? Would this revamped fixture be classy enough to make the cut for your home?

PLEASE NOTE!!!: ALL mardi gras beads used in this REmake were received at a family parade! NONE of these necklaces were “earned”! I repeat, “I did not show my ‘goodies’ to get these beads!”

Can you share any details of how you placed the beads? Did you just hot glue them to the inside of the rim? I have a remarkably similar, ugly lighting fixture and this will work perfectly! I’m so excited! Mine has 3 lights on it that are like your singular light.

I did just hot glue the beads to the inside rim. However, it’s not the most permanent solution. You could use epoxy for a permanent, strong hold. Hope this helps!
