Ok, so I am going to be totally predictable and post pictures of patriotic rooms today. Some of them hint at patriotism while others are quite overt. I like both!!! This room below obviously does not represent the country I pledge allegiance to but I love, love, love it’s sophisticated nature and modern feel.
Tim and I recently acquired 3 HUGE flags that we can’t wait to use in some of our designs. We took one with us to the lake this weekend and proudly displayed it in support of our country.
Can you believe that it is the medium sized flag??!!! The biggest one is about 18ft by 32ft!!! So AWESOME!! During our festivities I talked my friends into a little photo shoot.
We tried jumping but could never quite get it! 🙂 FUN STUFF!
Tim and I talk about how lucky we are to live in America way more than once a year. Since we have both lived overseas, we really feel we have a different perspective on the greatness of the USA. Our country was founded by dreamers, risk-takers, and justice seekers and to this day our nation has held on to those ideals. Sure we have our issues, but this is an INCREDIBLE, WONDERFUL, AWESOME country. And if you think differently, I challenge you to go live somewhere else for a while and see if you don’t start to realize how truly blessed we are.
