Happy Monday Friends!
Today I am highlighting a store called Haus Interior. I love all the layered patterns present in the store’s decor.
Sometimes it can be intimidating to use more than one pattern in a room, but if done right the results are really lovely! So here’s the Tip: when using multiple patterns in a room, make sure that the scale of the patterns differ from each other. This will keep things looking interesting rather than overwhelming. You can see in the photo above how Haus used a large scale pattern on the ground and then a much smaller one on the wall. Keeping the rest of the walls white really allows you to appreciate the patterns and the product. The dark colored wall in the very back also works to draw your eye to the back of the store making the whole space feel bigger.
Tim has been itching to get into our new loft because he has the shelving idea that will be just perfect for the space. The ones that Haus created for their store are very similar to Tim’s idea. Check them out!
They are basically wooden beams with slits cut into them just big enough for a piece of glass to slip into. The result is modern, clean, and completely functional.
Below instead of cutting slits into the wooden beams, the designers slipped ropes through holes in the wood and created a ladder of sorts, perfect for displaying blankets and a number of other things!
Light fixtures are probably my favorite singular element to add to a room. The possibilities are literally endless and it’s a great way to add your personality into a space. The fixtures in this space were simple but fun.
As I mentioned above, this dark colored wall at the back of the space draws your eye and makes the store bigger. It also draws your eye due the grid of antlers. I love this look.
If you’re interested in creating this look for your own home, Haus Interiors sells these mounted antlers in their online store!
Here are a few of my other favorites from Haus’s online store. Click here to see there whole selection and place an order.
I kind of LOVE this note to Noah! HA- so perfect! 🙂
