Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you had a meaningful, and wonderful Christmas! I decided to take the last two days off to celebrate with family, but now it’s back to business!
Do you remember my glass table top idea from a few months ago? The general idea was to purchase a glass top to perfectly fit any piece of furniture you own. With the help of the glass, you can easily change the look of any piece of furniture.
The first time around I painted this fun pattern on the bottom side of the glass.
After a while, I was ready for a new look, so I got some lacquer thinner and removed the paint.
This time I didn’t want to spend so much time mapping out and painting a pattern, so I opted to go with something a little bit easier. PAPER! You can find wrapping paper (and wallpaper) with all sorts of colors, patterns, and seasonal messages.
I’ve mentioned that I’ve gone crazy over glitter the past few months. Well when I saw this glitter wrapping paper at Wal-Mart, I knew I would love to see it adorn the top of my table and add some extra bling to my Holiday decor! 🙂
So, I cut the paper to fit the top of the table and placed the glass over the top of it to create a wipeable surface.
Then I accessorized! Here’s how it looks now! Fun, right! 🙂 I love how the light bounces off of it! 🙂
I’m sure in a few months, I’ll be switching up this look again, but for now I’m a fan! 🙂
Searching in Google brought up your website – I’m happy it did, cheers.

I like the idea with plexiglass top, as I love to change things very often. Both versions you made are beutiful
