Every once in a while I fall in love with a certain look and want to put it everywhere! That look right now is an iridescent finish. I know some of you might be really nervous about my design taste right about now, but let me assure you- the iridescent look can be incredibly classy and undeniably beautiful! From your home to the runway, the iridescent look is trending in a major way! Let’s look at a few examples!
These lovely mirrors from Studio Besau Marguerre (above) and this drop dead gorgeous light created by Sebastian Scherer (below) are pieces that have me dreamy of possibilities for my own creations. I literally can’t stop thinking about this light.
Anthropologie has provided an affordable option for anyone to bring the iridescent look into their home with this candle! It comes in multiple sizes as well with a white color option as well. I currently have four of these around my home.
Probably the general public are most familiar and comfortable with this look being used in the production of tile. Equally beautiful.

I created an iridescent tile look with the help of Modern Masters “Flash Blue” paint and Royal Design Stencils in this project I did for ABC’s Extreme weight loss last year. I was on the bandwagon early and I plan to ride it all the way to the end! 🙂
