Tim’s dream is to make beautiful, functional furniture. And lately, he has had some opportunities to do just that! The Kitchen, a restaurant in Tulsa, recently contacted to Tim to design and build a few tables for their dining area.
The feel of the restaurant is “industrial modern,” so Tim wanted to incorporate steel and dark stained wood into his table design. We ended up spotting this cold rolled steel panel (which serves as art in the space) after Tim had built the tables, so he felt like he had really nailed the look the owner was going for!
And here is how the tables turned out!!!
Tim used butcher block for the table top and for the legs, he sandwiched wood between two steel panels. So sleek isn’t it!
Tim also designed this stainless steel bar area for the lunch time crowd who need to need to get in and get out.
If you are ever in the Tulsa area, you should definitely check out The Kitchen! They have a rotating menu, art that changes weekly, and DELICIOUS food. Everything is prepared by the incredibly talented chef who uses only the freshest ingredients! Tim’s favorite is the gouda grits! I’m partial to the french toast with apple chutney on top! SO GOOD!
