Ooh, love it. And your giveaway gives me a good reason to comment, now that I’ve been reading your blog for a while.

My dream has always been to work as a newspaper reporter – and I’m lucky enough to be doing that now. And it’s even better than I’ve ever imagined, because I’m on the feature desk and get to write about things like home decorating, food and trends. It’s pretty sweet.

My ultimate dream is to have a happy stable family and a career that makes a difference at the same time. Right now we are working on getting ourselves to a happy, healthy place with each other and our jobs before adding to the family 🙂

Okay maybe I am channeling some Eat.Pray.Love here, but I’ve always dreamed of taking a few months (or even a year!) to travel the world 🙂 Ah, maybe one day. -Lacey (Lacer212@yahoo.com)

My dream is to have horses and an Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy Center. Being a counselor, I want to help people and horses are an amazing way to do so. I’m not sure where God is going to have us build it, yet. But we are waiting on him to fulfill that dream.

My ultimate dream is to design boys clothing. After having my little man I felt a serious gap in what is out there.
Achieving it by sewing more and more ideas every day.

I dream of (I wanna say genie, but no)of taking joyful photographs of wonderful people so in the ho hum of life, they are reminded of the dreams they are living daily.

I’ve started my own portrait and wedding photography company with my husband’s support. I’m slowly building my portfolio and gaining clients day by day while raising my 18 month old daughter, whom I practice on almost daily.

My dream (one of many) is to run an orphanage one day where I can love the children as Christ loves me, and educate them at the same time using the skills I’ve sharpened over the years as a teacher. It wouldn’t just be a shelter, but the living conditions would be clean and comfortable, and the children would really get lots of positive attention in many ways.

As far as “working” towards that dream… if God wants me there, it’ll happen! In the meantime I’m working as an early educator and getting my Master’s Degree in Special Ed.

My dream is to create a peaceful life for me and my family i.e. less stressful and more enjoyable. I’m taking things back a notch to work on this. Not so much rushing around, if things get finished they do and if they don’t there’s always another day. I’m also trying to create the slower pace of life that I enjoyed as a child. This includes simplifying things, more time outdoors, and turning off phones!

Our dream right now is to buy our own little house. After years of renting we’re ready to take the plunge!

  15. Trecia

My dream is to be DEBT FREE! Thank you Dave Ramsey! My husband and I are working toward it and in the meantime bought a little 940 sq. ft condo in St. Louis that we want to decorate so nicely, that it sells quicker than any other one in our neighborhood. Then we want to keep living within our means, build wealth, and use it to bless His Kingdom! Oh yeah, and have twins too!

My ultimate dream is to change the world! I have a passion for forgotten people (& animals!) and hope one day I can look back and see all those I helped along the way. I have worked with at-risk children for a long time and am moving into the public school realm where hopefully I can touch more lives!

My dream is to be a clinical therapist…I’m studying now for my GREs and I want to go to grad school next year. Let the dreams begin!

My dream is to be faithful and wise in stewarding the family and life God has blessed us with! Most of my life is beyond what I could have imagined and I am amazed to see how God has worked things out…even in the crazy, I don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel times!

  19. Stephanie Luttrell

Wow, tough question! I want a farm. I want acres of land with trees and a creek with a country style home to grow old with Mike in. To make it happen is mainly a financial issue, and we tackle that one day at a time.

  20. Kelsey

I’m living my dream;), but to make it my ultimate dream, I’d design and build a home perfect for my family. And as far as preparing for this, I’ve started a collection (on paper) of what I want for it. Someday. Someday…

My dream is to work with my husband doing freelance graphic and web design from our home! Some day we want to buy a couple acres for our dream home with a little guesthouse-turned-office out back. Sort of a modern comfortable ranchette with room for the kids to breathe and for us to work at home, but away from home (and distractions) at the same time. Right now we are focusing on building equity in our home with improvements we can make over time while my husband finishes his design degree.

Oh, and on a strictly selfish level, I want to be an eternal student. I love being in college and in a perfect world I could just keep going to school earning degrees in whatever strikes my fancy without the pressure to use it for anything in particular 🙂

  24. Emily Ann

Since I was very, very young I dreamed of being a doctor. Now with only one more year of med school left I feel like I’m actually almost there! Just a little more studying to go…

  25. Jeff

My ultimate dream is to visit all 50 states and all 7 continents; but my ultimate goal in life is to love the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind and strength and love my neighbor as myself.

My ultimate dream is to continue making my little house my home. I have 2 rooms left, and then the barn to create my wood working studio dream and art studio. Goodness, ultimately I’d love to work only part time and make art and furniture and plink around my property, but right now, I’m fixing up my house the way I want it.

  27. modernhaus

My dream? Oh, so so many. But a very prescient one at this time is to teach at a foreign university half the year, or every other year for a full year, so that my boys can experience expat life and be immersed in foreign culture, language, and experiences. I can’t think of a better way to give them a global perspective!

  28. BizzyMom

My dream is to take a couple months off in the summer and travel with my husband and children in a motor coach. We would travel the continental US and visit all our extended families who are scattered all over it 🙂

  29. The Grays

My dream is to see high school students ‘get it’ when it comes to having a relationship with Christ. I’m working w/ HS students now, and it’s awesome seeing that happen in many of their lives.
