After a week of anticipation we finally have a winner! Believe it or not, number 1 is the lucky gal! Stephanie please e-mail me so I can get you your gift!
In other news I have officially dubbed November “how-to” month and I will be giving tips on everything from panting like a pro to creating your very own upholstered headboard (it’s easier and cheaper than you think)! Be sure to let me know if there is something specific you would like a tutorial on!

Yay! It’s me!
Thank you so much Kara. What a great giveaway. I love the place cards. They are just in time for Thanksgiving dinner!
I enjoy your blog. I love all of the before and afters, and your recent video on your garage sale adventure was so cute!
Thanks again!
I have a kitchen table set that has water ring damage to the veneer top. I’m curious about sanding it down and doing some sort of decorative paint instead. Possible?
Hello Ms. LSM,
If the water has caused rippling you may want to replace the veneer top. If the water has just left a stain some kilz should clear it right up! You would probably have to do a lot of sanding to get rid of the stain but since your going to paint the top, it should be no problem! Hope this helps.
for how to’s, id like to know if it’s possible to cover up a tile backsplash? we have a brand new home and picked out beige tile but have changed our color scheme since moving in. our kitchen is a lemongrass color and it clashes with the beige tile backsplash. any suggestions?
Hello ERB,
I think I can come up with some options for you, but I would like to know the style of your house first. Could you send me a picture? Thanks!
