Hey Friends! Hap, hap, happy Friday! 🙂
I have a little secret to share today. In the near future Tim and I will be making a trip to Europe! We are going to Paris and then to London! I am soooo excited!!!
During the first part of our trip we will tend to some bowtie business, but then we’re taking some much need time to refresh and refuel our relationship as well as our creative juices! So. . . . I would love to hear from you guys that have made the journey overseas. What should we do, where should we go?! Please let us know!!
Sometimes a hard deadline is what you need in order to get things done and crossed off your list. That is what I am using this trip as. I want to have some major things crossed off my list so that I can really enjoy my vacation time! That means we have been burning the candle at both ends to ensure things are getting done! Here are just a few sneak peak photos of projects we’ve been working on!
Yes, that last picture is a loft! Yes, it makes me super excited! Yes, I will be having a party when it is complete! 🙂
Stay tuned because with any luck, tons of hard work, and a lot of late nights, these projects and the spaces they belong to will be revealed on the blog very soon! 🙂 Wish us luck! 😉

You absolutely have to go to Versailles when you’re in Paris. It’s a train ride out of the city but worth a full day trip! The palace is spectacular, the gardens stretch for miles, and Marie Antoinette’s “cottage” looks like something out of a Disney movie. And in London if you get the chance the Globe is also worth checking out. We paid 5pounds to stand and watch a show –3 hours on our feet was rough– but so worth it! Have a blast!
There are so many places you “must” go. Try not to do them all. Enjoy the sidewalk crowd and all the wonderful avenues.
Have fun getting all those projects finished in time! It will feel so good to relax once they’re done. 🙂 You should check out Meredith’s posts about their trip to Paris. Here’s part one:

Thanks for the tips ladies! We love traveling and we haven’t done it nearly enough lately. So excited! 🙂
Oh girl, ya’ll are going to have such a great time. I traveled to both places before I found my love for architecture/design. I’d so love to go back now and see it through different eyes. You’re progress is looking awesome…can’t wait to see your loft.
Thanks for sharing this post..very usefull..
