Monday, Monday! It’s shaping up to be a crazy busy week over here, but I’m looking forward to it! This weekend, Tim and our welder friend, Richard, started to build our loft!!! Woohoo! 🙂
We are building our loft with steel instead of wood in order to keep as much height as possible. (We only have to use 4in steel beams as opposed to 6in wood beams). Our loft won’t be tall people friendly, but since it’s our bedroom, we’re ok with that. The loft will add an extra 225 square feet of useable space, which will be essential since my brother is going to live with us this summer! 🙂
I’m thinking once the loft is built and our bedroom furniture is moved up there, I will be ready to have our first little party! 🙂 I haven’t been excited about bringing people over to our space thus far, but at that point I think I’ll be happy to show off our progress! 🙂 I’m going to shoot for a 6 week deadline to have the loft built, decorated, and a party on the books!
