Happy Monday Y’all! Friday I showed you where we secretly store all of our office supplies. Today I am going to continue the hidden storage reveal by taking a look behind door #3.
This unit is full of everything fashionable: from scarves to wooden bowties, from necklaces to sunglasses. Let’s take a look. . .
I have come up with a number of ways to store/display jewelry over these past few years and for me, the easiest and most visually appealing option (for necklaces) is to simply screw cute knobs into a piece of wood and layer away until all your pieces have a place. This makes it super easy to see and access whatever pieces you have. I first did this for Ida Red a few years ago. . .
And now I’ve done it for myself . . .
A ceramic egg holder from Anthro holds earrings and rings while one of my DIY spindle jewelry holders displays bracelets.
Scarves, neckties, and bow ties hang from a tension rod. I love that I can see all my options at once and that the pieces are easily removed and replaced.
Purses, hats, sunglasses, wallets, vintage bow ties, an iron and a lint roller all find a home in this shelving unit. And once again, I even have a little room to grow!
Having one place where I can go to find everything I need to finish an outfit and get out the door on time has been awesome! It surely beats digging through drawers and rummaging through baskets!
Come back tomorrow for an update on our refrigerator makeover!

I love all your necklaces! I also really love that poster on the door!
This is such a fantastic idea!
This looks absolutely amazing, Kara! This seriously looks like a display in a store!
