Hey Friends! Happy New Years Eve!  Do you have some super fun plans to bring in the New Year?  Tim and I are working today but hopefully we will get to play a bit tonight!

A few weeks ago I mentioned Tim and I were working on a national commercial.  Well, over the Christmas holiday we actually got to see it and there’s a chance you saw it too! 🙂

We got to work with a big name basketball player this time around. . . Kevin Durant!  If you love basketball or live in Oklahoma, you know who KD is!  We were excited to meet The Thunder’s MVP and to work on a commercial that would play all over the nation.

The commercial was for Sprint and therefore the ads run during the “Sprint Halftime Shows” of NBA games.  I would post some behind the scenes stuff, but any extra ciricular photos or video is strictly prohibited on these shoots.  🙁 The idea in this ad is if you watch too much NBA on your Sprint phone, you might just turn into an NBA player!  Of course no one really thinks that would be such a terrible thing. . . especially not the wife in the piece! 😉  If you’re not a NBA fan, I’ve posted the commercial below- check it out! 🙂

If I was in total control of this set, I would have made the background less monochromatic and liven the look up with splashes of color.  But it was still exciting to be a part of things even if the set wasn’t exactly to my taste.

We shot a lot of footage, so there may be more versions of this commercial coming in the next few months!  PS- We are working on another commercial with KD this week and I think the set is going to be pretty cool! We shall see! 🙂
