Hello Friends! The weekend is just about here, but I’m already looking forward to Sunday! Why? Because Nate Berkus has an incredible home decor line debuting in Target stores and on Target.com!
Because Nate is such an inspiration to Tim and I, we’ve read up on him. Did you know that Nate’s father was the co-founder of the National Sports Collectors Convention? Nate obviously grew up in a household that valued the history/stories behind the objects that surround us. I think it is so cool that Nate now has a passion for “collections” and a desire to show others how to create them. By helping others show off their own stories through collections, Nate is revealing a little of his own story to us! How cool is that?! 🙂
My favorite thing in the collection is the lacquered tortoise shell that will come in yellow, green, and white. I’m not sure why I’m drawn to a turtle shell, but I love it! 🙂 PS- you could also make this piece do double duty on Halloween! Any kids out there still want to be a “teenage mutant nina turtle?” 🙂 Haha!
When Tim and I were on Nate’s show, we got to speak with him briefly. In our house tour video, I mentioned gold and gray were probably my two favorite colors. Nate told me those were favorites of his as well, which is evident in his designs for Target. Love these hammered gold bowls and graphic pillows!

I can not wait to do some window browsing next week, though I am not sure how much I want to support target after they ripped off designs from independent designers. Love love love Nate Berkus though:)
