Vintage Market Days- A Holiday Affair

Vintage Market Days- A Holiday Affair

Hey Friends!  I have a fun thing to share today!

We were just asked to be a part of an event called the “Vintage Market Days!”  This is an outdoor flea market that exudes major southern, vintage, and eclectic charm.  Imagine a cross between the movie “Steel Magnolias,” Anthropologie, and an amazing holiday party! 🙂

This show is different than most flea markets because it is more of an event than just a place to shop!  There will be amazing decor ideas, awesome stuff to by, yummy food to eat, fantastic music, and an overall atmosphere that will bring the joy of the holidays into your heart!  🙂  Tim and I are hoping to contribute to this atmosphere, as we were asked to hold some decorating and DIY seminars!

We are super excited about the idea of doing presentations (possibly involving ways to decorate with easily found vintage items) and interacting with attenders.  We’re hoping we can even have a take home project!

A few looks you can expect to see at VMD- A Holiday Affair (except with more Christmas spirit). . .

Amy and Diana are the creators of Vintage Market Days and they say this,
“Our dream was to have an “open-air, Paris Flea Market” style event where our guests could escape their busy lives and slow down for a bit.  The guests at the last Vintage Market Days overwhelmed us with the donations they made to DaySpring Villa, a charity we felt honored to sponsor.  DaySpring is a faith based non-profit who supports women and their children who are victims of domestic violence.  They are also a refuge for women whose lives have been devastated by sex trafficking.”

Isn’t it awesome to know that while you are enjoying this charming event, that you will be supporting a worthwhile charity as well!?  It doesn’t get better than that!
We are also helping the VMD ladies with some ideas on how to create the fairytale-like holiday event that they are envisioning.  Here are some photos that the pair has saved as inspiration.  We’re talking twinkling lights, hot chocolate, and vintage charm!

So, aren’t you super excited to join us at this event?  I hope so!  Tim and I are thrilled about doing the seminars, but I’m also very excited about being in such a magical environment!  Vintage Market Days- A Holiday Affair is scheduled for November 9-11 so mark it down in your calendars! 🙂 More info to come! 🙂
