Hey Friends! I am trying to finish a major project before Tim gets home today so I am going to keep things short and sweet today. I’ll make up for it next week because I have a bunch of great posts coming up! So here are a few things to keep you inspired this weekend!
First off, I finished up and styled a client’s house last week and I think it turned out beautifully!!!! I am so excited to share it that I’m going to go ahead and post one photo of it. Best of all, my client is really happy with it too! 🙂
Second, if you have not seen “This Means War” you should go rent it! Not because it is a life changing movie but because the sets are amazing. I literally hit the pause button multiple times to dissect the sets in the background! Here are a few photos I found online, but believe me it gets so much better than this.

Lastly, my big project this week is building an armoire/closet for all of our clothes. Right now they are hanging on racks in the middle of our space. Although I have handled it fine for a while now, I am ready for my clothes to be covered. The closet will be completed with super cool DIY’ed sliding doors, but for now it look like this.
Also, I found the most awesome gold paint from Spectrum Paint this week. There is a good chance there is a Spectrum paint near you if you wan to try it out. I am in love with this stuff! PS- The color I love is called Olympic Gold- very fitting for the times, right!? 🙂

The picture from your client’s house is beautiful, love the rich saturated gem hues. Hope the full reveal includes some details on the piece over the mantel … if that was a DIY I’d love to know about it … JuJu + mirrored structure = unique and yummy.
Hey, thanks for giving me the updated blog. My link to your is updated, I just wanted to let you know. Thanks for all of your inspiration. Brooke
AND I am glad to know I am not the only one watching a movie and noticing the design!
The dining room scene…..AMAZING!!!!! Thanks for posting as I was not going to rent it for fear of it being a predictable movie (although I love Reese Witherspoon!), but I’m all about multi-functioning if the sets look like this : )
It could be someone’s favorite movie, while our go to resource for design inspiration, right?
Can you provide the source for the JuJu hat? I have been wanting one for my bedroom and don’t know where to purchase it? Thanks!
