Hello Friends! As you know,Tim and I have always been a proponent of doing what you love. A while ago, when the blog was still fairly new we created a products page where we sold different pieces that we made. As time went by and we filled orders for different products, we figured out that we really enjoy creating those unique items once or twice but after that the whole process really becomes more of job we dread. So, we closed up shop and decided to focus our efforts on what we find joy in.
But now we are back because we have dreams and we have ideas. We have dreams of turning this two man team into a little bit larger group. Tim and I still do almost all of the work we suggest for our clients- from the drywall to the custom art. We need to learn the art of delegating. We need to learn to empower others to help us get our projects completed. But it’s hard. It’s hard to put your trust in people to do the job with the same standards that you would do it. We are in desperate need of a handy man type person that can do drywall, small electrical projects, hang trim, and other stuff like that. We haven’t found that person yet, but we do think we may have found someone who could run our “store” and take care of any orders we may receive. Her name is Nataley and she was one of my interns at Anthro! We work well together and she enjoys the process of creating things!
So, all that to say- we are going to do a brief trial run with a few new products. We are going to start out small and see how things go- that being said if there is something we have made in the past that you would like to see be for sale, let us know! 🙂
