African Inspired Dining Space

African Inspired Dining Space

Is there a better way to start off the week than with a beautiful before and after!?  Not to this girl! Today I am revealing a dining space that was inspired by a deep love of African heritage. The amazing clients I was privileged enough to work with have a long history with Africa and wanted to celebrate it in their home.  Both parents spent tons of time in the beautiful continent, growing up there as part of missionary families.  Fast forward to today, the couple has adopted 3 of their 7 children from the land that is so close to their heart.

The Fullingham’s had already begun to integrate pieces that they had gathered on their trips to Africa, but they needed help pulling things together. Here’s how the space looked when I arrived to access….

I created this design board to show the family what I was thinking for the space….
