A local news channel (Channel 2) called and asked if I would do a segment about dorm room design, so of course I said “Yes!” The goal of the segment was to provide ideas that could be done with minimal skill, time, and money. Here I: created an easy and cheap headboard by hanging a flag ($20), made generic furniture unique by applying tape ($2), provided a place for photos by hanging strips of roof flashing ($10), and used already owned items (like hats) to decorate (FREE)!!
