Our entry way wall has wood y’all!!! In the last photo you saw, we had things framed out….
Now, the studs are clad with wood planks and are ready for paint!
The wall is definitely providing the type of “open separation” that I was looking for.
I love the window cutout and think it will be the perfect place for a few potted herbs. It gets great light and the greenery will look good from both sides! PS- We still have to make a metal frame to fit inside and finish out the window area.
As of now, my plan is to paint the wood white, but that could change in the next few days as we finalize our kitchen plans (more about that later)!!!

I love this! The steel frame is so cool and it provides such a nice contrast with the warm wood. I know you are planning to paint it, but it looks so awesome like this. Are you painting both sides or just the kitchen side?
This looks great! I kind of like the natural look it has now, but I don’t know all of the plans you have for the kitchen. I love the window idea.
