HAND CRAFTED FARMHOUSE HOME TOUR

HAND CRAFTED FARMHOUSE HOME TOUR

You have until Sunday at 2 to comment on this post and have a chance at winning a $50 gift card. And besides the possibility of winning money, you could totally make my day! 🙂

Do you remember the incredible mini makeover from a few months ago? Well this home tour comes straight from the creator of that fine piece! Lissa’s home is chalked full of warm tones, textures, and of course pieces of furniture that she built with her own two hands (oh yeah and power tools!).

When Lissa’s father comes in for a visit, he is almost always hauling a trailer full of reclaimed wood to bring his beloved daughter. Apparently he has the hook-up! Lissa takes all of that gorgeous wood and builds things like the two dining room benches in the pic below.

I just love the layers of all those warm colors. This is a space that you can walk in and immediately feel at home.

Lissa likes to experiment with different materials and a while ago she tried her hand at making concrete letters. Although she is still working out some kinks, I certainly love the prototype she displays above the sink!

Lissa also built this piece that she based off a Restoration Hardware design. Impressive? Oh yeah!

I love this easy art idea that Lissa placed over her entertainment center. A piece of rope, a few clothespins, and bunch of favorite photos are an easy and cheap way to enjoy memories and add some cool texture to your space. And of course, the best part is you can easily customize the look for different seasons or events.

That’s it for this week friends! See you in a few!

The light fixture that she has created over the dining room table is AMAZING! I just might have to snag that idea and give it a go in my kitchen…over my sink is where I am imagining. Thanks for the giveaway! Love your blog!

That is really impressive work! Does she have a blog (so I can stalk it)? 🙂

I especially love that wood-metal table. I have been eyeing one similar to that.

Hey Ladies! Unfortunately Lissa does not have a blog at the moment. I will definitely let you know if talk her into starting one though! 🙂 I am sure your sweet comments will be encouraging to her!
