The Great Cover Up- DIY Knitware Vases

The Great Cover Up- DIY Knitware Vases

More Christmas decor ideas coming at you today! As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, candles are items I like to decorate with year round.  I also use vases in every season for flowers among other things.  I save all sorts of glass jars (jelly jars, mason jars, mismatched drinking glasses, ect).  These make perfect pieces to cover with different materials depending on your decor.  Here are a few looks I came up with for my “traditional farmhouse” Christmas set up.

So, are you curious what I used to cover the glass jars?  Yarn, a sock, and a fingerless mitten!

Fun, right!?  And probably some of the easiest,  fastest projects I’ve ever done!  You could even use old sweater sleeves.  Also, you can find yarn, socks, and sweaters in all sorts of styles so you can absolutely create something that fits you!  As a matter of fact, most of us need to clean out our closets anyway. Odds are, you’ve got all sorts of pieces just waiting to be repurposed! 🙂

I covered/created all 3 of these vases in a few minutes for a total of $5!  Anyone can do this! Happy crafting!
