2ND TIME AROUND

2ND TIME AROUND
Things have changed drastically since the last time you saw my living room. I lived with the first design for a while, but then felt the desire to change it up. I wanted the room to be more in tune with the cottage style of the house. Things look a whole lot different now! I enjoy both designs, but I want to know what you think!!!! Which style is more up your ally? The casual cottage look or the a colorful and quirky approach? Leave a comment and let me know.
The new photos are drastically better than the first (thanks to Ashley) so try to ignore that part and focus on the design if that’s possible. 🙂
NEW CASUAL COTTAGE
COLORFUL AND QUIRKY

I enjoyed the quirky design, and could have done the kitchen and dining room in the same style. But, I thought it would be wise to make each of the rooms flow together using a more “normal” style in case we ever decide to sell this place. And I do like the new look!

If you look close you can see we are still in need of a living room light fixture. The previous one was modified to make the dining room chandelier.

The stacked suitcases are perfect for hiding DVD’s, magazines, and craft supplies!

I positively love both! I’d have to say that the quirky look is probably more my style, though I could live in both rooms no problem! I love changing up my decor like this. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks for weighing in ladies! For those wondering about the slipcover, I actually got from a garage sale believe it or not. Wish I had a more convenient source for you. 🙂

Love the new cottage look! It looks so cozy and inviting. That jar light installation in the living room was cool, but I can see how it would be “too much” since you have the jar chandelier in the dining room. Great job girl, I think it all flows together perfectly!
