Hey, hey friends! This week is CrossFit Regionals week!!!! That means I’m headed to Chicago to compete against 32 other beautiful and buff women for a chance to go to the Crossfit Games! I’ve been in major prep/training mode the past 5 weeks, which is why you haven’t been hearing as much from me. I’m excited/nervous/going through all sorts of emotions right now, but most of all I’m grateful for the opportunity to be an athlete again. It’s such a fulfilling role for me. 🙂
Monday, I’ll be back here and able to put more focus back on the blog and designing! PS- If you’re interested in my CF competition this weekend, you can follow my progress on my personal instagram.
Ok, so one of my favorite things to do (although I don’t do it nearly enough) is cleaning up and getting a space organized. I don’t think that means everything has to be put away behind closet or cupboard doors though! One of my favorite things to do is use a tray to bring style and organization to any room of a house.
I use trays in my own home and in client homes all the time! Here are a few trays I’ve put together for guests when they’ve come to stay with me….
Read my blog post about preparing a guest bedroom retreat here.
Another room I like to use a tray in is the bathroom! Whether wrangling makeup and jewelry or endless bath products- trays help turn chaos into a collection that can be appreciated!
Another place where a tray can prove helpful is on a cushioned ottoman. We all love the comfort that these pieces provide, but they are not great for holding vases of flowers or for entertaining with drinks and such. A tray is able to change that….
Of course, there are all sorts of beautiful trays out there at all different price points. But you may want to create a customizable tray that you can change with your mood or the seasons! Here’s one that I created below…

Trays- the perfect accessory for any and every room. Get stylishly organized people!
‘Til tomorrow!

Fun! I just revamped our master bath with some new mats and accessories, and was so excited to put to use a silver tray I got at a thrift store a while back. I almost bought a new wooden tray at Target, but decided it was too expensive, and then remembered the silver one after I got home. It was the perfect size! Love it when that happens. Good luck in Chicago! 🙂
