My parent’s have commissioned me to figure out a clever way to hide their ugly air conditioning unit. So instead of doing something easy, like building a fence around the cooling component, you know I had to take it a step further (ok, maybe a whole marathon further) and come up with something way more creative.
My father has ALWAYS loved the outdoors! From landscaping and grass cutting to gardening and summer BBQ’s, his free time is usually spent outside the house. So I am taking this opportunity to form a fabulous focal point in his back yard. Take a look at the space on Day 1 in the video below.

Below is the proposal that I originally came up with! Charming, right!? Well, unfortunately we had a change of plans when the wood that we needed to build this beauty proved to be way beyond our budget.
So, on to plan B which I “artfully” sketched on a scrap piece of paper! 🙂
