Hey there Friends! I’ve really enjoyed my January. I’ve been working, but I have not been putting in the hours that I normally do. But now it’s time to get back in the swing of things (easier said than done). Someone recently asked me when I thought our house would be finished. Well, it will be a while before everything is just how I want it, but I’m hoping we can have our major projects accomplished by the end of the summer.
Since I have this timeline, we’ve been putting in work here at the house. I showed you some of the progress in the kitchen. Here are a few other sneak peak photos of things we’ve got up our sleeve.
In the bathroom. . .
The original bathroom plan involved copper. . .but we changed our tune. Can’t wait to show you this as it comes together!
Experimenting is part of our regular routine. Since we love our designs to be different, we’re constantly testing limits and pushing the boundaries. Here we’re testing out some colors mixed with ARDEX for our shower walls! Details to come!

Oh yeah…we’re jumping on the concrete bandwagon and I’m so excited! We are going to have someone put in concrete overlay countertops to look like granite into our new kitchen. I wish we could DIY it, but I don’t think that would be a good idea to attempt countertops as my first concrete project! Hopefully we’ll see some concrete in our house in the next few weeks.
