You may have noticed that I was little bit absent last week! Please forgive me. Tim and I were called to help out with a few commercials being shot here in Tulsa and the crazy hours left me with no time to update the blog. But no worries, this week we are headed home to Arkansas for Thanksgiving and I am sure to have time to relax and write all sorts of fun stuff!!
It just so happened that one of the commercials this week called for a dorm room design! Being on a budget and a TIGHT timeline, I went shopping. . . at my house! 🙂 Here’s how it turned out!
Luckily, I had enough at my house to work with the purplish carpet color. So, the room turned out to be a bold (and beautiful, I think) space that spoke to the fact that the character in the commercial had a dream to be a fashion designer.
Sometimes it seems that the generic furniture that comes with dorm rooms is a real hurdle that can hinder the space. But, accessories (in the right colors of course) can really take a dorm room and make it feel personal and even pretty!
