Loops is a crazy cool yarn store in Tulsa. They have this great atmosphere that encourages you to sit down and create something beautiful with their yarn, buttons, and more.
When Shelley (the owner) decided to open another location on the South side of town, she gave me a call to work some magic and rig up a button display “case.” Here’s how it turned out!
Pretty fun, huh!? I love the clustered look of the piece! It is made with air duct supplies and wood. I got some pretty funny looks as I walked out of Lowes with about 25 of these metal circles. Oh well- I’m used to it! 🙂
OSU has a well known design program in these parts and they offered to help Shelley design the new store as a class project of sorts. Let’s take a look!
Crisp, clean, and colorful!!! I love that the palette allows the product to take center stage. The pops of color (from the yarn) add all the interest this space needs. I think the end result is really beautiful!

LOOPS holds classes to teach people how to knit, crochet, and all sorts of other stuff. Below is their class room complete with a metallic project wall where avid knitters can display there recent completed creations.
The OSU students and Shelley made sure every inch looked lovely. Check out the combo of industrial and glamour in the bathroom.

Ooooh, love Loops! I haven’t been into the new location yet but it’s closer to my house than Utica. Now I’ll have to make a specific detour. That’s for the preview!

What the hey?!! My husband and I moved from Tulsa a little over a year ago. Why do I not know about all these cool stores until after I leave?! I guess I’ll just have to convince him to move us back 🙂
