Hey Friends!! Happy, happy Friday! Today we are posting the news segment we did last week. We covered some easy ideas for DIY art. Unfortunately, we got cut a little short (because of all the coverage on the tornados) but we got to share a couple of ideas and have a few laughs as Tim cracked Deana and I up!
We have a ton of fun doing these segments, so we hope you’ll take a couple of minutes to check it out!
One idea we didn’t have time to cover is how we love to use printed papers (whether it be photography books, illustrated calenders, stationary, wrapping paper, or something else) to create easy, inexpensive, and professional looking pieces of art.
Of course we’ve done this a number of spaces we’ve designed when the budget has run out and we need to fill some walls or just because we like the look!
Keep your eyes peeled and look for cheap books with lots of pictures. I have found great options at garage and estate sales or sometimes the clearance rack at bookstores. You will be surprised at what you can get for a couple of bucks.
Well that’s it for this week! See you Monday!
