I am constantly finding, repairing, and repainting furniture from garage sales and sometimes even the curb. I found this reject thrown out with the trash. When I first got my hands on it, its leg was broken and its style was certainly lacking!! Take a look at the before.
Would you pick up that Ugly Duckling with hopes of it turning into a beautiful swan (or at least something you don’t mind looking at)? Well I did, and I guess you can be the judge of whether or not it was worth my time. Here is the after.
I love revealing the potential in the things that most people see as junk! And it ALWAYS makes me feel good to know that I did right by Mother Earth and kept her a little more clean than she would have been.
So, don’t be afraid to do a little dumpster diving or some drive by curb snatching!
Total Time- 3 hours
Total Dollars- $2 for sanding discs (I used some leftover stain and paint so that was FREE)

I have done better curbside than at garage sales in my area! Our “big” pick up day is Wednesday, so I often take a ride around on a Tuesday night!
You did a great job! Looks completely different!
