Just to the left of that inlaid wood dresser is the closet. The closet doors used to be the plain, cheap wooden ones. But I wanted them to feel more in line with the rest of this well traveled room. So, I covered the bifold doors in cork!

I bought the cork in a roll at an office supply store. Then I cut the pieces to size and used rubber cement to adhere the cork to the wood.

Last, I used thumb tacks to hang photos, postcards, and mementos from important moments in our life. They speak to our travels and triumphs. It is the perfect addition to this room made for getting lost in your dreams.
