Every now and then there are ideas worth repeating. I feel like the spray painted lace pattern that I originally did on this dresser was one of those ideas.
So like I explained in the dresser post, the whole process is super simple-
1. Gather your supplies- spray paint, lace, and in this case a lamp shade.
2. Lay the lace over the surface of the shade and spray. Make sure you don’t spray where the fabric isn’t laying directly on the shade.
3.Give the paint 20 seconds to dry and then roll the shade to reveal a area that has not been sprayed. Make sure the lace is laying straight on the shade and continue spray painting.
4. Continue this process until your shade is completely covered in a lacy pattern. It takes about 2 minutes!
And you end up with something like this!!!
With the light on. . .
I’ve been having some fun on the other side of the room too! Here’s a very unfocused sneak peak!!!

me encanta!!!
love this look! i might have to try it on my living room lamp shades. where did you score the lace?
this is lovely! bonus- it’s something I can see myself actually doing! 🙂
