Fashion Trade Show in Paris

Hey Friends! As I mentioned before, our first few days in Paris will be spent doing official bowtie business. Two Guys Bow Ties is taking part of one of the biggest fashion shows in the stylish city and I’m tagging along to help out the hubby. After arriving at 6 am Friday we went straight to work setting up the booth for the “Who’s Next” fashion trade show!

Here’s how our booth ended up!

It was definitely a challenge trying to transport all the stuff we needed to decorate the space. Being a in a foreign country makes sourcing things a bit more difficult than normal. But overall I think we did pretty good with the display. Oh, and since I am working in the booth and couldn’t/wouldn’t sport the manly product, I decided to make a few of my own, feminine versions of the bow tie! 🙂 This is the one I wore on the first day!

Ha, I think it’s kind of cool so I created a few more styles that I will wear over the next few days.

Now you know that I would much rather look at home decor items all day, but a fashion show is the next best thing. Since home trends generally follow fashion trends, I am certainly looking at this show as an opportunity to get ahead of the game and to also see if I’m on the right track! 🙂 And I’m excited to share some of the trends and unique pieces that I spot with you as well! I’ll post pics to some of my favorite things and the trends that I am spotting soon!
