Hey Friends! Tim and I are pretty exhausted from a full weekend. As you know, we were over in OKC to be a part of an event that celebrated everything vintage, handmade, and creative! We loved meeting new friends and talking about everything from our concrete creations to the Thunder’s run in the playoffs! And of course we took some photos so you could see how we set everything up!
Our main goals in going to the show were to 1. Tell people about our DIY classes and 2. Get rid of some stuff we have gathered from a bunch of different projects. We did make just a few of our favorite DIYs to sell at the show, like the fish scale light fixtures.
Here’s our concrete creation station! 🙂 If you look close, you will see some items you haven’t seen before. . .
. . .like a 2 foot tall amperstand. . .
and cool concrete frames (some with embedded shapes!). . .
I also made a few Juju’s! I haven’t shared how to make these on the blog just yet, but I will soon! I made one for a client and it turned out great, so I decided to make a few more. . . because I think they are so fun! 🙂 Plus, they add great texture!
So, as I said one of the main things we wanted to do while at the show is to let people know about our DIY classes and specifically our concrete class!
We wanted to get one on the books for July but with my birthday, our anniversary, and a much needed vacation, we had to push the next class back to August. We are excited to announce the next class will be on August 11th. You can read more about it and sign up right here! Yay!
See you tomorrow!

I wish I lived closer! The thought of a concrete class seems like a blast. Want to put on a class in Nova Scotia?? 🙂
