The next how-to was a request months ago from my friend, Mrs. Limestone! She spied my stump tables in some photos and was dying to know how she could make some for herself. Well, I hope Mrs. Limestone believes in the saying, “Better late than never!”
You will get a little sneak peak of the guest bedroom in the video and pictures! I am happy to say I will be finishing it up today!
Please forgive my video making skills, towards the end of the video the lighting is HORRIBLE! Maybe one day I’ll have my own show and won’t have to worry about the camera work! 🙂
If you are more interested in the final product rather than the process, here are some pictures.
And since it’s been a while, “Remember, do what you love!!!”

HI KARA! 🙂
I was inspired by your pompom creation. 🙂 I have always wanted to make my own. Um, im not sure how I like mine so far but maybe after I have had a few done and hung ill like them!! I will definitely take a picture and send ya some! Thank you so much!!!!!!
I haven’t had a chance to watch the video yet, and maybe you address it in there, but how do you be sure the stumps aren’t breeding little bugs that will come inside with your lovely creation!?
Hey Amanda,
I definitely inspected the stumps before I brought them in (made sure there were no soft spots, ect) to make sure there were no termites chowing down in there. I also set them inside for a while (in our utility room) to give the stumps time to dry out.
Hi Kara,
I’m loving your blog and tutorials specially this one, I have been searching for a how to stump table but I havent liked what I found but this one I love but I was wondering with what did paint it.
Cheers from Tangier Morocco.
