With everything from new electrical and new walls going in the back of our house, it looks like we are in over our head to most people but to us its all just part of the process. Tim likes to joke that he is building himself a “man cave” under the house. Sometimes, I don’t think that is so funny.
Renovations are some people’s worst nightmare while others love the challenge and satisfaction that comes from turning a dump into a diamond. Personally I love breathing new life into an old outdated space. At times our task seems overwhelming and I can’t believe what we have gotten ourselves into, but that is always followed by the exciting thoughts of what it will look like when we are done. My friends and family can barely believe what Tim and I live with on a daily basis, but projects past give them the assurance that we will make it happen. Full scale renovations are not for the faint of heart and it takes a truly unique couple to live in the space they are renovating without winding up in divorce! So far we are still together but there is a lot left to do! 🙂
Though its has taken longer than expected and we have encountered more problems than you would think imaginable, we are still truckin’ along. I can’t wait to share all the progress and warm fuzzy feelings that will follow with the completion of our projects!!
