Today I am featuring the jewelry/accessory display space that I created for IDA RED. This store has A LOT of stuff and each day people come in asking if they can sell their handmade items in Ida. This meant that I had to come up with a ton of display space and somehow keep it from looking cluttered and chaotic. Here’s what my solution looked like.
Against the back wall I created a collage of frames that hold hooks for the numerous necklaces Ida carries. You’ve heard me say that this store has a “bohemian rocker” feel and I think this installation displays that duality perfectly. You have the aged and vintage pieces combined with the iconic rocker color palette (red, black, white), the lacy pattern behind the frames that can go either way, and the red border that reminds me of a rocker chic’s bright red lipstick offering a great pop of color.
Some ladders set to the side hold scarfs, a few of them tied in bows of course!!
IDA always has a lot of scarves, so even more storage was needed for these gorgeous wraps. I attached old coke crates (which is also a big theme in the store) to the wall, rolled the scarves, and stuck them in the holes.
And here’s a better look at that lacy background.
As for the display on top of the table, I failed to get good photos- so I will do a little update when I can get some pictures that aren’t blurry. See you tomorrow!!!
PS- I am having a 50% of sale on my “Tree Coat Racks.” If you’re interested send me an e-mail. I have a few a need to get rid of to clear out some storage space! 🙂

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
