Hey Friends!
Well, I think that I have covered all the Paris fun we experienced while on our trip, now it’s time to turn the focus to London! I’ll do a London overview similar to the one I did with Paris (you can read that here), but today I am going to start this set of posts out by telling about a store that you just must visit if you head to the UK.
Liberty is like an Anthropologie on steroids (minus the artistic displays). Imagine 4 floors stuffed full of amazing unique pieces. From fabulous fashion finds to incredible interior items to whimsical accessories, this place was such a treat to visit.
When I made my trip to Liberty, it was our last day in London and I still had not bought a single thing to commemorate our European vacation. I’m pretty picky when it comes to buying “souvenirs” so I was afraid I was going to come back to the states with nothing but memories and pictures. But then I found the perfect thing to remind me of our trip and dress up our space back home! Take a look at these gorgeous plates!
I bought 10 plates in 6 different designs. The designs were reproductions of plates that had rich histories and you could read about their origins in a summary on the back of each plate. Each design was unique and so beautiful.
Now with gorgeous plates like these, I would always be concerned about breaking them and probably would not use them as much in order to assure they stayed in tact. But I can use these guys every single day without concern. Why? Because even though they look like porcelain, these expensive looking plates are made of metal! I had no clue they were aluminum until I picked them up- they look so real!
These plates are by far my most favorite souvenirs ever. I love that they’re beautiful, incredibly practical, and also have a cool story! Do you love them as much as I do?
I am searching to see if there is anywhere in the states or online where I can purchase more of these guys. I’ll be sure to let you know if I find a source! 🙂
Happy Monday Friends!

Let’s start a petition to get a Liberty in the states! Score of a souvenir…love them!
Amaaaaaaaazing!!!!
I adore these plates!! Can’t believe they’re metal.
Thanks for sharing a peek inside. I can’t wait to go myself.
