ONE PROJECT CLOSER

ONE PROJECT CLOSER
Hello all! In my recent blog reading I stumbled across a new favorite called “One Project Closer.”

It turns out they were having a do-it-yourself makeover competition, and Lord knows I have plenty of those to share with the world! So on a whim I sent in a couple of my favorite transformations and was extremely flattered when I heard back from them saying that I was their winner for week 2!!! There are so many reasons I am excited to be given this honor:

1. I received a $25 gift card to Lowe’s
2. Habitat for Humanity was given a $35 donation in my name
3. More people will see my designs (and hopefully like them 🙂
4. And I will be eligible to win the grand prize and bragging rights when all you powerful people get to vote on your favorite reno at the end of the 14 week competition!

So are you itching to find out which makeover made the winner’s list? It was my master bath overhaul. In case you missed it first time around, here are the highlights!!

The “Begging for Help” BEFORES

The Astounding AFTERS

There are many times when I think that a project is complete only to add or change something a little later. That happened here when I decided I wanted to add a little something extra to make my vanities more custom. I replaced the plain black cabinet door inserts with a frosted glass and the brushed pulls with chrome colored hardware! Such a small project, such a BIG difference!

Hi I love your bathroom remodel! Is it okay to ask what the dimensions of this room are?
    Thanks,

Wow Kara, I had never seen the before pictures of your bathroom. It makes the remodel that much better in my eyes! I hope I can afford to hire you to help my remodel once I have a home, (it won’t be glamorous to start, first homes never are!). I love your work. Oh, BTW, after Clean Slate I was bit by the Kara bug and went garage sale hopping for the first time in my life and found an excellent diamond in the ruff entertainment center. John and I are going to give it a complete makeover! See, your already inspiring and impacting those around you!
