Ok, since many of you can’t watch videos at work I’ll go ahead and give you the run down in writing. About a month ago Tim and I signed a lease on this building!

As you can see, right now it displays the former tenant’s business name. We will get rid of that and proudly put our name “Kara Paslay Designs” front and center. . . well maybe not centered. 🙂
We also have some ideas to spruce up the curb appeal just a bit.
We’ve already started some work on the inside. For example, we exposed some brick walls that were covered with plaster.
Yay! I’ve dreamed of exposed brick for years now! Love it, love it! 🙂
Right now, I am only showing you pictures of the front part of the warehouse space. We will make this a living space. It will have everything a normal house would but it will also have a lofted area that we are going to build! 🙂
As you can see there is a lot of work to be done! But we’re excited to take on this new challenge! Of course this new endeavor has got me searching for all sorts of industrial loft inspiration! Here are a few favorites from my Pinterest feed.
