Hey Friends! I made a random Sunday post, so check it out after you read through everything here!
Hey Friends! Today I want to talk about something that is a little bit taboo. Generally I keep this blog very focused on design, but today I am going to step outside of that category. As many of you know, Tim and I are working on getting our design show (‘Til Design Do Us Part) on the air! We have finished our sizzle reel and hope to be taking the next step very soon.
Tim and I really feel like the timing is right and we’ve been trying to prepare ourselves in every way possible. Being that our goal is a television show, we know we will have HD cameras zoomed in on our faces at some point. That is a little bit intimidating, and therefore I’ve been trying to get my skin care on point.
A few weeks ago, I just so happened to receive an e-mail from BlogHer saying they were doing a review program with StriVectin-SD™ Intensive Concentrate for Stretch Marks & Wrinkles. On a whim I signed up.
Why not try a product that’s supposed to help with an issue I am currently thinking about, right? I received the product in the mail a few weeks ago and started using it. Of course I took some before pictures to see if there really would be any change. The area I am most concerned with is around my mouth. I guess I’ve done a lot of smiling over the years, because it seems there is a permanent line there now. It’s not terribly pronounced yet. . .but that’s what I’m hoping to avoid!
Only being two weeks in, I haven’t really noticed a change in my smile lines, but the product definitely keeps my skin well-hydrated (which of course is one way to prevent new wrinkles). So that’s good!
I’m definitely interested to see how things are looking after I use the product for the recommended 8 weeks. You may have noticed that the product is also for stretch marks. I haven’t had any children, but I did gain a few stretch marks when I started college and began heavy weight lifting for basketball. Once again, I haven’t used the product long enough to see any real change, but I am definitely interested to see if it helps to eliminate these marks! So what about you guys? Have any of you ever tried StriVectin? What were your results?

I use Striectin and have the same things to say about it. I love the moisture but I dont apply it often enough to see definite results. I’ll keep using it and see how it goes.
On a side note, I would love to know how BlogHer works for you…(from a fellow blogger)
x
Also good luck with the show! I would love to see it on air soon!
I’ve been going to my dermatologist for 3 years getting chemical peels and my skin always looks young and healthy (except for the week after the peel. Then, I’m peeling!) I highly recommend it! It’s great for getting fresh skin!
I have never tried it but would love to know if it really works on stretch marks. After having a couple of kids, I have a road map on my stomach! Best of luck to you!
sounds interesting, not sure i believe in miracle products, but anything’s worth a try. hope all show prep goes well for you guys!
I gained a lot of weight with my 3 pregnancies so I have a lot of stretch marks. I’d be interested in seeing how this ingredient treats stretch marks.

I like the gentle, continual exfoliation the NIA-114 does to the skin. It’s easier on the skin
for those like me with sensitive skin and who cannot use harsher chemical exfoliants. Softens lines and clarifies the skin.

Well, I would be interested to see how it goes for you with time.
I am old, so maybe I am past the expired date for smooth skin.
Who knows though?

I’m curious to see how the product pans out in the long run.

I love how it is supposed to repair damage….I would love to see if it would do that for my sun damaged skin and for my surgery scar.
I am interested in having it help diminish the appearance of fine lines around my eyes.

I am interested in seeing how NIA-114 can repair damage & work on wrinkles since I had some sun damage when I was younger and I am worried my skin will age quicker.

I’m definitely intrigued by the claims of the NIA-114 and I’d love to hear more after you’ve been using it for a while. Now that I’m getting closer to 40 than 30, I’m much more concerned about fine lines and other damage to my skin.

Would love to hear that it really works on stretch marks.

I am interested in the moisturizing component. Your skin looks beautiful by the way!
I read that NIA-114 helps niacin get into your skin, and that niacin repairs skin damage and helps to rebuild skin layers. That sounds wonderful!

I have sensitive skin and would love to try this to see if it will make my skin more refreshed and if this would help with adult acne.

I have StriVectin at home that I’ll try soon for my aging wrinkles. One ingredient intrigues me in this product and that is Niacin which I’ve used in the past in NIA 24 and it worked overnight on my between the brows deep wrinkles.
Honey, those aren’t wrinkles! That’s just how people look when they smile! You look great!
My sister uses several of the Strivectin products and they’re working great for her as well. You’re beautiful! It’s time I try them myself. I never noticed some of my worst wrinkles until I got a webcam. Yikes – hehe.
I’m interested in seeing if it helps stop wrinkles! They are just starting and I’m hoping to slow them down.
I’m interested in this for two reason I am interested in how well it works on stretch marks and how well it works with the fine lines around my eyes.
