I’m back with a couple more ways to amp up your curb appeal. Let’s get to it, shall we?
Tip #3- Add charming accents!
Hang a simple swing from a tree limb.
Plant climbing vines. Create a pattern using wire to keep the look clean or let it go all natural.
Sometimes it’s as easy as adding adorable door mat. (Please excuse the Christmas theme- it’s the only good photo I could find).

You can rarely talk about sprucing things up without mentioning the power of paint. . . which brings us to-
TIP#4- Repaint your doors and/or trim. If you aren’t great with colors I really recommend contacting a professional to help pick a palette. The difference a great color combination can make is extraordinary!
Personally I LOVE red doors!

TIP #5- A tile, stone, or stained concrete walkway starting at the street can really go a long way in drawing people to your door.
TIP#6- When you are decorating indoors make sure you think about the visual impact curtains will create when you view them from outside the house. A crazy color or pattern can really throw off your outdoor look. For rooms towards the front of the house think about using rattan roman shades, neutral drapes, or indoor shutters.

LOVE the one with the vines in the middle of the windows! That’s perfect for the front of my home!
Thanks for the tips Kara, sometimes it is easy to overlook the little things that will make a big impact! xx
I just wanted to pop in and say that I’m so happy I FINALLY had a chance to feature your great use of yellow/gray in the Master and Guest Bedroom in my latest post. You did such a fantastic job!
