Starting on the Shop

Starting on the Shop

Remember a few months back when we told y’all about our awesome shop space we will be moving into?

Well we still have it and we still plan on moving into it, but we weren’t going to start working on it until we sold our house.

We haven’t sold the house yet (if you or someone you know is looking for a lovely home in Midtown Tulsa, send them our way), but we are going to start working on the shop anyways.

I started by taking down some walls today!

I have been trying to write an eloquent explanation of our decision, but it just isn’t working. So I will just keep it simple. We are taking a risk by moving forward with our shop plans, but it is a risk we felt led to make. It is tough to find the balance of being patient, waiting for God to provide and moving boldly ahead in faith.

Hopefully you all are excited, this should mean lots of DIY projects for you. The first thing on our to do list is the bathroom. We finally nailed down the layout this week and have lots of crazy ideas planned for this small space. We like to think we normally have some pretty creative ideas, but we both are really looking forward to taking things to another level in this space.

We look forward to sharing our new space with you, but even more so we can’t wait to be able to share the story of how God has provided for us in a way that only he can. We would greatly appreciate your prayers and thoughts.

Come back tomorrow to hear another great “Inspire Me” story. We got to speak with Sherry from Young House Love!

I loved reading this today. I just made a bold step myself starting 2nd business at the leading of God. I’m so excited to see what he does with it.

Thrilled to see you guys moving forward – a great testimony in the making! Look forward to reading all about it.
