If you’ve been reading my status updates on Facebook, you may have gathered that Tim and I are on a cross country road trip! We’ve made a few stops, but of course one of the most action packed places we’ve been is LAS VEGAS! And although we weren’t excited for the same reasons most people are to be in Vegas, we were pumped to see and be inspired by all the out of the box and incredible designs in a place where no expense is spared.
Here are a few of the highlights of what we saw!
These chevron tiled floors had me at hello! G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!!!
Then there was this very cool “fish scale wall”. . .
. . .which reminded me of the fish scale wall I did at my church (completed after photos will be on the blog at some point).
Here you see these “cabanas” created from bent wood. Of course they would be cool outside by a pool, but I also like the intimate setting they create indoors here. And of course I love the mod chandeliers they had hanging above!
Then there were these circles that had a diameter of about 4in.
There were tons of them grouped all over the wall- proof that small pieces can make a big statement!
But Tim was most impressed with the stair’s seamless curve from the step to the wall!
This unique, almost alien-like installation is located in Marni Boutique.
And this cascading chandelier can be seen at Mandalay Bay. I love how it resembles a jellyfish! So beautiful!

Of course these are only a few of the inspiring and outrageous designs that we were enamored by while in Las Vegas. If you are ever close by, you might want to stop in just to see all the creativity, artistry, and incredible craftsmanship. The level of detail seen in all the casinos completely impressed us!!! And just so we don’t paint a false picture of who we are, we did gamble. . . with the free sign up bonuses at each casino! And guess what. . . we left $150 richer!!! 🙂 We’re too cheap to bet our own money! 🙂
Above- Tim kissing his “lucky” charm and showing off our winnings!

How wonderful! I love the chunky legs on that table at the church!!
That marble chevron tiled floor is amazing! Time consuming, I’m sure, but so worth it! I really love the wall instillation of the circles, too. Thanks for the inspiring photos!
